This is a fantastic silver mounted violin bow with a very blingy silver winding. Stamped A.F. Moglie and "Germany" under the frog, this bow came through the shop of Albert Moglie, who was a master violin maker and for many years was charged with care for the Antonio Stradivari violins in the Library of Congress. This is a very fine German trade bow with beautiful fluer de lis frog. Despite its light weight it pulls a very big sound and is rather well balanced. This would be a fantastic bow for an advanced or professional player seeking a lighter weight bow that still pulls a big sound.
