INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not collect personal information while you browse our site. If you enter the site from an ad or post, we do collect device data to help us determine performance of our marketing. This helps us determine how well we have communicated to our customers and if you are able to complete your purchase. You name, email and other personal data is not collected in this process. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

INFORMATION COLLECTED DURING PURCHASE
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, credit card or Affirm payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”. This information is used to complete the transaction and deliver your product. It may also be used to send you a reminder notice if you leave a product in the shopping cart.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
As a customer of Kennedy violins you email may be added to our email list, however you can opt out of receiving marketing email from us at any time.
EMAIL AND SMS MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SIGNUP AND OPT OUT
We use third party services for email and SMS marketing communications. Your data is securely stored on a contact lists on the messaging service provider's site. We do not send marketing messages to anyone who has not given consent to be included on a marketing list. Your data is only used to communicate with you directly. We never sell your data. You may receive communications regarding promotions, company news, product information, or abandoned cart messages.
You may join our news and marketing lists by filling out a signup form. You can choose whether you want to be notified by text, email, or both. When you fill out the signup form we may collect your name, email address, and/or phone number. Kennedy Violins generally sends no more that one marketing email per month. In case of special offer, or during holiday season, we may send out up to 3 emails in one month. We send no more than three Marketing SMS (text) messages per month. You may opt out of marketing messaging at anytime by following the links or instructions included in the message.
Some email and SMS messages are sent in conjunction with purchases providing information about your transaction and shipping notifications. these communications are needed to inform the customer of details regarding their purchase and are not considered marketing communications.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We only share your Personal Information as needed with third parties as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
