This 16" Maggini model viola is a workshop model purchased in the white, and then gently regraduated, and made adjustments to the bass bar. Then it was varnished with a high quality spirit varnish, and well applied ground coats. The setup is with medium to low action height making it extremely easy to play. It's setup with Knilling Perfection Swiss Rosewood pegs and a high quality rosewood tailpiece and chinrest. It features European tonewoods of Maple, and an even grained spruce top.
This viola has a very rich tone that is even across all registers. It has a very extremely resonant sound quality with a lot of ring. This would be a great viola for an advanced student or budding professional player.
