This 1958 Ernst Heinrich Roth Strad Copy was made in Bubenreuth Erlangen Germany. The Roth workshop was founded by Ernst Heinrich Roth I in 1902. By 1958 his son Albert ran the workshop and another son, Ernst Heinrich Roth II, oversaw business operations.
A great example from the Roth workshop in Germany with a great sound and very reasonable price. This is a faithful reproduction of a Stradivari violin using a nice two piece maple back, and an even grained spruce top. The tone is very clear and resonant and the instrument responds quickly under the bow.
Features:
- Ebony fittings with a side-mount chinrest
- Mature "played in" resonant sound
- Flamed 2 piece maple back
- Well setup and easy to play
