A beautiful Strad model violin made in Portland, Oregon in 1931. This violin features a very powerful sound with great projection and clarity. It's well setup and very easy to play and in very good condition. The only signs of repair is a small edge repair on the top on the bass side lower bout. The amber/yellow varnish is still in great condition and has nice glow in its appearance. This reasonably priced violin would make an advanced or professional player looking for a lot of projection very happy.

Robert Robinson was a violin maker who made Portland Oregon his home after 1902 and while he started making instruments in his teenage years in the 1860s he made only a few instruments after moving to Portland. Violin comes with recent appraisal and valuation.
