The Carpini Cello sounds as good as it looks, making it easy to perform to your highest potential. Louis Carpini Cellos are meant for continuing and advancing students and come strung with professional quality D'Addario Prelude Strings, steel wound for long life and ease of tuning.
The first characteristic you'll notice about this cello is the beautifully flamed maple back. It is also constructed with a tightly grained spruce top for a fantastically warm, strong sound. The fittings are 100% genuine African ebony for long life and durability. A traditional hand-rubbed oil finish complements the sound, unlike thick, shiny lacquers on many student instruments.
