The David Yale bass is a fully carved french cornered bass with a rich sound that is designed for an advancing student looking for a bass to step up from their student model instrument. It features nice sloping shoulders making it easier to access the upper register of the bass. This bass sings and plays easily in all registers and has a dark lower register.
Solid well flamed maple back and sides and a tightly grained solid spruce top give this bass a tonal richness not found in other basses at this price point. A 41.5" mensure combined with nice sloping shoulder keep this bass easy to play while still having the volume of larger instruments. Only available in 3/4 size.
The David Yale Bass is available for sale in the Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA area.
