Lorenzo Maria Cinquepalmi Violin
This fine violin has been gently played in for about a year and is sounding fantastic. The warm low end transfers to an even and brilliant upper register. Certificate of authenticity included with sale. This violin has all the rich tone you expect from an Italian instrument. It's setup beautifully and features rosewood fittings and a well-carved Aubert Deluxe bridge. This would be a fantastic instrument for a serious conservatory student or professional player.
Lorenzo Maria Cinquepalmi acquired the title of Master in 2013, graduating with honours. In 2014 he was awarded with the gold medal for cellos at the 8th A.n.l.a.i. national violin making competition and the Cremona award for the best instrument. In 2015 he did a one-year masters in assembling and fine tuning of bowed string instruments, graduating again with honours. He spent a year working with highly esteemed luthiers like Gregg Alf, Elena Bardella and Luca Primon. In 2016 Lorenzo decided to open the doors of his own workshop in the ancient village of Orino, devoting himself to the craft and restoration of violins, violas and cellos.
