I ordered the Antonio Giuliani Primo Violin Outfit from Kennedys Violins during their Black Friday event. Based on the recommendations of their sales staff, I upgraded to the Alphayue strings and carbon fiber bow. I also ordered a KUN Solo Shoulder Rest, a spare set of Prelude strings and the Essential Elements for Strings Violin Book 1. Shipping was quick, I received my order 5 days later. Upon opening the case, I was pleased with the quality of the Portland case. It was lined in red velvet with a padded area for the Violin. There were several storage areas for accessories, the lid had storage for up to four bows. The case even included a hygrometer so you could monitor the humidity. The Violin itself was a nice rich color with tiger striping on the back. Kennedys setup the Violin and it was still in tune upon arrival as confirmed by the included tuner. The Antonio Giuliani carbon fiber bow is well balanced and sturdy. The KUN Solo Shoulder Rest, once adjusted, creates a comfortable cradle for the violin allowing extended practice time. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and with the helpful staff at Kennedys.

Right out of the box, the violin was ready to play. Beautiful, rich, warm, and LOUD tones.... Son plays for the school Chamber Orchestra and Intermezzio School of Arts, Charleston SC. His school teacher absolutely loved the violin and how it sounded. Great place to buy and excellent customer service.
