Most guitars in this price category are constructed using only laminated body woods, but the DN-6 is built with a solid cedar top that gives the instrument unmatched quality and richness of sound that is rare at this price point.
Giuliani guitars are unique in this price category because they are constructed with dual-action truss rods. Dual action truss rods provide the ability to adjust the guitar if the player wants to switch between light, medium or heavy tension string sets, and do not require seasonal adjustment like traditional compression truss rods. This flexibility in adjustment also reduces the acclimation period when the instrument is moved to different climates. The headstock is constructed with a scarf joint and one piece rosewood overlay for added strength and durability.
Every Giuliani guitar is professionally set up in a Kennedy Violins shop in Washington state. All frets have been hand leveled, crowned and polished. All fret ends have been dressed for comfort as well. Each guitar is set up at the 12th fret with 1/16” of clearance on the treble, and 3/32” on the bass side. The bridges are made of real rosewood and every guitar is set up with high-quality D'Addario steel strings. Giuliani guitars are backed by an unmatched 45 day money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty.
