This Bohemian double bass dates to around 1880 and features solid spruce and maple construction with ebony fittings. It has a comfortable 42-inch string length and is currently set up with D’Addario Helicore Hybrid strings. The bass has received important restoration work within the last 20 years, including a new bass bar and top repair. An Underwood pickup is already installed, making it ready for both acoustic and amplified playing.
