About Ellie Kennedy
Meet the Artist
Ellie Kennedy is currently studying for her Bachelor of Violin performance under the instruction of Ilya and Olga Kaler at the Cleveland Institute of Music and is a member of the Canton Symphony.
She was the 2024 concertmaster of the San Antonio Youth Philharmonic and won the 2021 Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) Concerto Competition, where she was invited to perform the first movement of the Barber Violin Concerto at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
She held the concertmaster position of the TMEA Texas All State Symphony Orchestra and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) Young Artists Orchestra. Ellie also attended the Heifetz International Music Institute in 2023 and 2024, as well as the Aspen Music Festival in 2025.
