Instrument Customization
Kennedy Violins’ professional luthiers are on hand to customize all our stringed instruments to meet your esthetic and performance requirements. In addition to our expert setup, we can offer the following services to provide you with a unique instrument, just right for your style of playing. Please note that in the event of a return, Instruments and parts are refunded, but installation costs are non-refundable.

Orchestral Instrument Customizations
Pegs: We offer pegs in a variety of styles. Each instrument is unique and pegs are custom-fit to your specific instrument by our expert luthiers. There is a non-refundable installation fee for fitting custom pegs.
Fittings: In addition to pegs, we can also outfit your violin with matching tailpiece, chinrest, and end button.
Pickup: Electrify your violin with an LR Baggs Violin Pickup. There is a non-refundable fee for installation.
Fine Tuners: We will install your choice of fine tuner options on any instrument you purchase, at no additional charge.
Violin to Fiddle Conversion
Did you know any violin can be a fiddle? You can convert your Intermediate or Advanced new violin purchase through this website by choosing the Fiddle Conversion Option in the bridge portion of the customizer at no additional charge. You can also contact us to have our in-house luthiers convert your own instrument.
The fiddle bridge is not recommended for beginning violin students. For conversion of a beginning or student-level instrument please call customer service.
Guitar Customization
Pickups:Electrify your acoustic or classical guitar with an LR Baggs Element active under saddle pickup! Other pickup options are available upon special request with lead time. There is a non-refundable fee for installation.
Hardware: We have a range of finish options available for your guitar hardware. Contact us today to build the guitar you’ve always wanted!
Pickguards: We also have a range of options available for pickguards, from classic styles to more modern options to match your style and protect your guitar for years of playing.
Bridge pins: We carry a variety of bridge pins for steel string acoustic guitars. Want to upgrade sustain with brass bridge pins? We’ve got those! Want to upgrade to bone or rosewood pins with or without inlays? We have options for that as well!
Strings: We only use and install premium strings, but if you have a specific set or style that you prefer, contact us to get exactly what you want! We love to customize for our customers!
