G. A. Pfretzchner Silver-Mounted Violin Bow

This is a beautifully playing silver-mounted violin bow stamped G. A. Pfretzchner. This bow has a very even feel, from frog to tip, and the ability to pull a warm and complex sound from a violin. This bow would be fantastic for a very advanced or professional player. With Pernambuco becoming so rare it is hard to find good old dense wood like this from modern bows. There has been a small cosmetic repair to the frog, which does not effect its excellent condition.
