Franz Winkler Silver Mounted Violin Bow

This pernambuco bow, stamped F. Winkler, was made in Germany by Franz Winkler (1878 – 1962) who began his career in Markneukirchen. His bows were sold both in Europe and in the United States. There is a second stamp, "Made In Germany," on the bottom of the stick between the screw and the ebony frog.
